Social activity (free of charge): chocolate tasting tour

Where: city center of Brussels (we will depart by metro together from VUB after the lecture by John Joseph, but you can also join us directly at De Brouckère Metro station, exit no. 3 — map)

Following the lecture of John E. Joseph (Edinburgh), we will take the metro to the city center for a delightful chocolate tasting tour. Together, we will explore the heart of Brussels while visiting three of Belgium’s best chocolatiers. During this guided tour, you will have the chance to taste six different pralines while learning more about the history of the city.

Cost: €50 (includes aperitif, main course, one drink, water, coffee and dessert — to be paid during registration)

After the chocolate tasting tour, you can join us for a lovely dinner at The Brasserie (https://thebrasserie.be/). This restaurant is located in the iconic Brussels Stock Exchange and is known for its fine Belgian cuisine and beer pairings. Both vegan and non-vegan options are available.
